Bye-bye, Opry House.

*BIG CHANGE OF PLANS FOR GHS STUDENTS.

[insert huge sad face here]

Due to all of the flood damage that has happened throughout all of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, Metro schools have been closed all week. For Glencliff, senior week was scheduled for next week, May 11th-14th. Due to unfortunate recent events, most of our senior week activities have been cancelled to make room for AP testing, state testing, and etc. We will no longer have a senior breakfast. :[ Also, because the Grand Ole Opry House was all flooded, we can no longer graduate from that particular venue. We are now, graduating from TPAC, Tennessee Performing Arts Center, instead. Unfortunately for us, TPAC is much smaller than the Opry House, which ultimately means that we'll be receiving fewer tickets. :[ *cry face*

We were already only receiving 10 tickets, which wasn't enough for most students. Now, with a smaller venue, I highly doubt that we'll receive more than 5. This really sucks for a lot of people, because there are huge families who have been dying to see us graduate. With fewer tickets, we have to make the difficult decision of choosing who will be given a ticket and who won't. This really sucks!
